Module 4: Old and New Antisemitism in Islam: Agents of Change in Action, Dr. Dina Lisnyansky, Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan
This lecture will focus on the Islamic and Islamist aspect of antisemitism. Detailing the Jewish people and the land of Israel in sacred texts in Islam to establish the reality of Islam as a religion, to its hijacking by extremists through several different empires, countries, and points in history. Dr. Dina Lisnyansky will also discuss the media strategies used by these groups in order to spread their message, and cultivate antisemitism as a political weapon.
